After three years of renovation, Baylo Bistro & Bar opened its doors in October 2011. Located in a historical building from the 1870s and equipped with a mixture of furniture, Baylo manages to combine the old worn-out glory with a modern touch. The dim light and the small size of tables make it an ideal date location. The character is more of a bistro than a restaurant and the menu is kept relatively small and chic- a couple of starters and mains as well as delicious cheese and cold meat plates. The main courses are basic – Schnitzel, Hamburger and Pasta, but all very good. One of their specialties are their daily changing soups that always consist of unusual ingredients such as chestnut, pea or beetroot. After dinner the place gets crowded and on weekend DJs are spinning the turntables, playing anything from 80s to indie or rock.
