This Turkish tavern in the bustling area of Asmali Mescit is a perfect starting point for an evening about town. Sitting on the terrace (that is heated in cooler months) you can overlook the street and watch people hopping from bar to bar, feeling the vibrant atmosphere of that area. The menu consists of traditional Turkish food, a lot of cold mezes to start with as well as a big variety of fish. One of their most ordered dishes is their liver or their eggplant dishes. Everything is kept simple, definitely not a flashy or posh place, but down-to-earth and authentic. Normally and especially over the weekend the place is really packed, so come early in order to get a table (they do not take reservations).
